Eduardo John Balatbat (林銀龍), one of the founding members of the Ágúman Súlat Kapampángan, is a staunch cultural advocate, writer and philosopher. Growing up in a multicultural background, John learned to identify and appreciate that which is uniquely Kapampangan. His works delve mainly into the deeper meaning behind our living traditions, beliefs, values and folklore. He prefers pencil and ink sketches in expressing his Kulitan art, as well as the use of bamboo as a medium for his Kulitan writing. An accountant by profession, Balatbat currently lives with his family in Porac.
